[at the last step op your morning routine, before your make up routine]

This might be the most effective step in the morning since it helps your skin to defense against all the harms from the sun, such as dark spots, skin damage, fine lines, and wrinkles, a.k.a. prematurely aging of your skin.

Nowadays, most of us probably use a moisturizer or foundation (/BB/CC) with S.P.F. built in. But in order to obtain the right amount of UV protection these products won’t do it alone. We need 1/4 tablespoon of sunscreen on our face and that can not be achieved by one layer of moisturizer, or one layer of foundation (/BB/CC). Thus we need to layer it up.

Unlike their Western variant, the Korean sunscreens are very lightweight, or even weightless, absorb quickly, and wear really well underneath makeup, on lazy days you can even use it as your base makeup instead of a BB cream.

UV = Ultra Violate radiation
A form of energy that comes from the sun. Damages the skin’s cellular DNA, thus causing cancer.

UVA = Aging ray
Has a long wavelength and penetrates deep into the skin (dermis).
Can cause cancer, aging (by attacking the collagen in your dermis), pigment spots

UVA = Burning
Has a shorter wavelength than A and penetrates the skin more superficially.
Causes skin cancers, sunburn, temporary dark spots

Ingredients with both UVA and UVB protection
Dioxybenzone, Oxybenzone, Sulisobenzone, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide

Skin improvement is being patient! It is important to give a new skin care routine/product a trial period of at least 1 month since your skin will renew its cells each 28 days. In case you notice (a small) dfference, please try another 2-3 months.
