      ▸ Azelaic acid is a naturally occurring acid derived from grains like barley and wheat. It is known for its ability fight acne-causing bacteria, reduce inflammation, and improve skin discolouration. 
      ▸ It gently unclogs pores, calms inflammation, and helps even out skin tone - making it ideal for sensitive, acne-prone skin.  
      ▸ It is anti-bacterial as it inhibits Cutibacterum acnes and other acne-causing bacteria. Another core mechanism is that it is anti-keratinisation as it prevents buildup of dead skin cells and unclogs pores. Finally it is also an antioxidant as it neutralises reactive oxygen species and soothes inflammation.
      ▸ The serum contains a high concentration of Azelaic Acid (15%) which makes a targeted treatment designed specifically for more stubborn post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and severe redness while repairing the skin barrier.

    • This product is supposed to be alcohol-free, but I am seeing Cetearyl / Cetyl Alcohol, and such on the ingredient list.. Why?
